Hello, techies and techies-to-be. Welcome to GizMunch. The new tech blog in Kenya reaching out to the public to get educated, learn more and get updates on the tech world. From gadgets to dev insights to matters with security... GizMunch covers all that to feed your hunger for knowledge. And we are excited to start that journey by sharing our stories to show what tech means to us.

Regarding matters with technology, there is always a buzz like new emerging trends making headlines and the craziest kind of gadgets out there. While we're not yet there to do actual reviews of the tech gadgets, we get to express our honest impressions of the device to the consumer and enthusiast. In the future, we are looking forward to doing more to express our stories.

For the devs and newbie devs, you know the noise buzzing on social media 24/7. New code languages, new APIs, new compilers...the list is endless. We got the authors who share their own experiences from a developer and student's perspective, the tips and tricks to navigate with and recommendations for coding learning materials and courses too.

It's really exciting. Not only do we get to tell the stories, we want to tell and inform you guys the way we think you should be informed, but we get to build on those pieces of information and make them better, honest, smarter, and faster.

Before GizMunch came into existence, some of us writers have been exploring other blogs and YouTube channels or many famous tech reviewers and tech writers, getting similar inspiration to do the same. So we banded together as a team to brainstorm how to share our stories. We have been sharing our stories in form of tweets, Medium posts, WhatsApp status feeds and mostly word of mouth with our peers.

We thought combining our stories would be great to reach a wider audience. This is how we gathered our areas to focus on since most of us learn in the Information Technology spectrum: 

• Hardware and Software. 

• Cybersecurity. 

• Coding. 

• Internet of Things.

• Emerging technologies. 

• Policies in IT in Kenya and worldwide.

• Tech Conventions.

We strive to get honest and true information when it comes to tech products guiding the consumer and investor with the facts and ONLY the facts. We give our own opinions on what some tech aspects need attention in the current trends and why they matter. We share tips and tricks with some basic skills in computers, mobile devices and social media skills. And hopefully, soon we will add some good content for gamers too (soon*).
