After many teases of the Galaxy AI and that titanium colour theme, the Samsung Galaxy S24 series comprises the Ultra, the Plus and the regular model during this year’s first Unpacked event on 17th January. In the highly anticipated Samsung Unpacked event, tech enthusiasts and smartphone aficionados were treated to a glimpse of the future as Samsung unveiled its latest flagship smartphone. 

The star of the show: Galaxy AI

The Galaxy S24 series comes bundled with AI features that make it stand out from the previous Galaxy models. There is Live Translate which has real-time translations, the ability to look up information by circling on an image with Circle to Search with Google, Chat Assist to help better communication and Note Assist which summarizes note-related data on the screen.

Design Evolution

Samsung has always been known for its sleek and stylish designs, and the Galaxy S24 continues this tradition with a design evolution that pushes the boundaries of smartphone aesthetics, only this time, the bigger model got a slight design refresh- a flat display with Corning® Gorilla® Armor. The Unpacked event showcased the device's premium build quality, featuring a seamless blend of titanium metal finish and glass that enhances durability with an IP68 rating and exudes a premium feel.

Here's the list of colours available; Titanium Gray, Titanium Black, Titanium Violet, and Titanium Yellow; plus Titanium Green, Titanium Blue, and Titanium Orange.

Performance Boost

Under the hood, the Galaxy S24 series is powered by the latest Snapdragon Gen 3 processor for Galaxy, delivering a significant performance boost. The Unpacked event highlighted the seamless multitasking capabilities, enhanced gaming performance, and improved energy efficiency users expect from the new flagship device. Whether users are running resource-intensive applications or enjoying graphics-intensive games, the Galaxy S24 promises a smooth and responsive experience.

Camera System Reinvention

Photography enthusiasts will be delighted by the advancements in the Galaxy S24's camera system. The Unpacked event showcased a reimagined camera setup for the Galaxy S24 Ultra 200-megapixel main camera and an upgraded 50MP 5x telephoto, featuring state-of-the-art sensors and improved computational photography. 

Samsung has taken low-light photography to new heights with Nightography, allowing users to capture breathtaking shots in challenging lighting conditions. Additionally, the S24 and S24+ share the same specs as their predecessors masterpiece. All the new phone models can post HDR photos on Instagram as well as Snapchat.

Display Innovation

One of the standout features of the Galaxy S24 series is the revolutionary display technology that promises an immersive visual experience. Galaxy S24 Ultra offers a 6.8-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X, with a 120Hz display refresh rate. The enhanced HDR capabilities and increased brightness levels further contribute to a stunning and lifelike viewing experience.

Galaxy S24 has a 6.2-inch AMOLED FHD+ resolution (2,340 x 1,080) with a 120Hz display refresh rate while the Galaxy S24+ has a 6.7-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED (3,120 x 1,440) with a 120Hz display refresh rate.
